squishbox software redesign
more useful for designing general apps, such as:
- synths:
  - amsynth https://amsynth.github.io/
  - setbfree https://github.com/pantherb/setBfree

  - pure data
- audio player using pydub + simpleaudio http://pydub.com/
- command line with keyboard input
- some kind of app chooser + a friendly way to load/unload or start/stop apps
a lot of the synths seem to be plugin-based - maybe figure out what the best host would be and write a squishbox interface for that - then maybe write a plugin version of fluidpatcher? there is an old fluidsynth-dssi plugin out there..
thoughts about squishbox apps that control other synths:
- similar patches concept, duplicate fluidpatcher router
- also use bank files, squishbox-dssi-host or fluidpatcher can read them transparently
